The State of Journalism Today: Exploring the deteriorating state of traditional journalism in a fragmented society Including:

* The impact that the growth of news deserts and disinformation are having on government and democracy in general

* Understanding ways journalists are committed to carrying on important work to help address these issues

A one-hour panel presentation by Iowa Writers Collaborative Column Writers:

A group discussion will follow the presentation.

Everyone is welcome. A continental breakfast will be provided. The event is free, however a donation of your choosing ($5 is suggested) will be gratefully accepted.
