GS Loves the State Parks at Sweet Run State Park

Celebrate adventure, friendship, and the great outdoors during Girl Scouts Love State Parks Day. From 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. we will offer a program on how to make a nature journal, followed by a guided hike on Farmstead Loop and Mountain View Trail from 11 a.m. to noon.
From 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. scouts can engage in hands-on activities at the Interpretive Center, connecting with rangers and learning how to protect and enjoy state parks for generations to come.
Please join us for any or all of these activities and be sure to check your Girl Scout Council’s website for more information. You do not need to be a Girl Scout to participate in any of these events. All programs are open to the public.
This year they went with the Arts in Nature badges.
The booklet also goes over how to get a FREE Girl Scouts Love State Parks badge.
***The park will not be handing out any badges, you will need to fill out the survey from the State after the event, and they will mail them back to you.
