Growing Shiitake Mushrooms

Did you know mushrooms are considered a powerhouse superfood? They are loaded with vitamins and nutrients. Although considered a specialty crop, they are easy to grow in your backyard. Participants will leave the workshop with one inoculated log to grow your very own mushrooms.

Just a reminder - We love your kids - but our Better Living Series workshops are for 18 years and up! Our 4-H Youth Development program has great workshops and programs for youth ages 5-18.
