Growing City Greens

Help us continue to grow a community-powered food system by joining us on Tuesday, September 22nd for our annual Growing City Greens fundraiser at the Contemporary Art Museum! Growing City Greens is a "green party" - dress as fancy, fly, or fantastic as you like, but come wearing green. This is a nonformal, cocktail-style party, with farm-to-table food. Enjoy the art galleries, listen to dope tunes, make crafts, play games, and sip tasty free local beer & wine. We have SOLD OUT the last two years so be sure to get your tickets ASAP!
As always, all of your donations and ticket sales directly contributes to food sovereignty and expanding food access for all. Our fundraising goal for this event is $100,000, which supports:
- The expansion of our services to neighborhoods outside of our 63110 ZIP code through our online ordering and grocery delivery services, as well as cementing our steps towards our new location in Dutchtown
- Our community’s wellness by funding our Free Soup Fridays every week, Free Community Gatherings, nutrition and gardening workshops 9 months out of the year in 2027
- The economic health of local farmers with small-scale, sustainable farms who sell their produce to City Greens Market at wholesale prices
- Our staff’s wellness by funding health insurance benefits for full-time staff, a generous paid time off policy, and, relevant trainings throughout the year to set them up for success personally and professionally
- Our continued work with other local partners toward an equitable and resilient regional food system
