BuildIT - AI Won't Run Itself: How to Test It, Trust It, and Put It to Work

Your experts and your data are the secret ingredients that make AI actually work.
That premise changes where you start. This hands-on session begins from the work itself rather than from any tool. You’ll pick one recurring workflow in your organization, something like onboarding a new client, pulling together the monthly report, or answering the inquiries that arrive every week, and we’ll break it down into all its steps.
Some of those steps are work these tools genuinely handle well, like pulling details out of a message or drafting a first reply. Others rely on judgment from the people closest to the work. Knowing which is which, before committing resources to full integration, is half of what this session teaches.
The other half is proof. We’ll walk through a full test together, live: gather a stack of real examples, spell out what a good result looks like for each one, run them through the tool, and grade its answers against what your own subject matter experts know is correct. By the end, we’ll have systematically uncovered where it shines and where it stumbles, and you’ll know how to run the same test on work of your own.

A laptop is handy but optional, and nothing needs setting up ahead of time. No technical background needed. It does help to show up with one recurring piece of work in mind, whatever eats more of your week than it should.
