About this Event
Learn how to save seeds and sow them outdoors this winter to grow beautiful native plants in the spring! Monica Miller, founder of Suburban Jungle, will teach you how to harvest, process, and store seeds from native perennials like Milkweed, Coneflower, and Bee Balm.
In this hands-on workshop, you'll also create your own mini greenhouses using upcycled gallon jugs—perfect for winter sowing! Flower Power will provide all supplies, but feel free to bring your favorite seeds or clean gallon jugs to share.
Space is limited, so RSVP now to save your spot! Suggested donation: $10 (proceeds support Flower Power's mission to fight cancer one flower at a time).
All ages are welcome! Anyone under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
