Group Visit

A group visit to the Essex Record Office including a guided tour around the building to show your group how we care for our collections.
About this Event

Our tours can accomodate up to 16 people with a duration of around 2 hours.

Standard tour - £93.25 for 2026/27

Includes:

• A tour of the Searchroom
• A small display of maps of a location of your choice
• A look inside one of our storerooms
• A small display of some of the treasures of the Record Office
• A visit to Conservation

If you would like to have a more bespoke document display looking at a place or subject of your choice, even a particular type of document, we can put that together for you. Just add this during the checkout.

Bespoke document display - £66.75 for 2026/27

Please note, while our building is fully accessable, the tour does cover quite some distance over the course of the 2 hours.
