Grounding Into Presence: A Gentle Breathwork Journey
About this Event
Grounding Into Presence: A Gentle Breathwork Journey
Your breath is one of the few things in your body you can control and let go of at the same time. That's where the work happens.
This is a gentle, guided breathwork journey. No holotropic intensity, no pushing your system past what it's ready for. We start slow. We build awareness. We give your nervous system room to settle before we ask anything of it.
This journey pairs well with talk therapy. It's not a replacement for it. Think of it as another way in, a space to process on a somatic level what you're already working through with words. It's also a good space for psychedelic integration, a place to sit with what came up and let it settle into the body, not just stay in your head.
ABOUT YOUR FACILITATOR:
Hi, I'm Maxwell, and I'll be guiding you through this journey. As a licensed massage therapist and breathwork facilitator at Sacred Zenith, I bring trauma-informed care to this space. I'll be moving through the room throughout the session, checking in and making sure you have what you need, whether that's an extra blanket, a reminder to breathe, a grounding touch, or light bodywork. Your emotions and sensations are welcome here. They're not something to manage, they're something to notice and learn from.
What to Expect
- A guided breathwork journey relaxing the body and nervous system
- Breathing techniques designed to downregulate and bring you into a calmer state
- Space to release tension, old patterns, and whatever you're ready to let go of
- Room to notice what's there, reconnect with yourself, and settle into your own presence
- Gentle integration and reflection at the close of the session
Here's what people usually notice afterward:
- A body that feels lighter, like something got put down
- A stronger sense of connection, to themselves and to something bigger than the day-to-day
- More space for love, joy, and clarity
- A deep sense of being grounded, rested, and presence
You don't need experience with breathwork to come. You don't need to have it figured out. You just need to be willing to breathe and see what moves.
