About this Event

***UPDATE***

Due to the impending snowstorm, this show had been postponed to Sunday, March 1st. We will honor any and all tickets booked to apply to next week's event. Refunds are also optional.

Thank you for your continued support of our local artists. We look forward to seeing you next weekend. Please stay safe!

This Black History Month, Groovy Sundays invites you to The Black Out — a night rooted in music, culture, and the energy that only Black spaces hold.

We’re honoring 100 years of Black history the Groovy way: through live sound, shared rhythm, and a room full of people who understand the assignment. Expect soulful vocals, raw lyricism, live instrumentation, and an atmosphere that feels intimate, expressive, and alive.

This isn’t a lecture — it’s a celebration. A reminder that Black culture has always been the blueprint, the soundtrack, and the heartbeat. From neo-soul to hip-hop to spoken word, the night flows through a curated showcase, open mic, and jam session that brings artists and audience together as one.
