Join us July 14th–18th for an immersive hands-on workshop designed to help you improve your grooming skills, prepare for certification, and connect with fellow groomers in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Multiple award-winning groomers and NDGAA Certifiers, Guzal and Nicole bring years of experience in competitive grooming, certification preparation, breed profile education, and professional grooming techniques. July 15 – Standards & Structure Day
Morning hike at Great Falls
Picnic lunch with an in-depth discussion on: • Understanding AKC Breed Standards
• How to read and interpret standards
• Applying standards to your grooming and styling decisions

July 16 – Terrier Day
Terrier grooming and breed-specific techniques in the morning
Short-legged Terrier demo (West Highland White Terrier)
Long-legged Terrier demonstration
Authentic homemade Uzbek dinner in the evening
July 17 – Sporting Day
American Cocker vs English Cocker Spaniel
A full day dedicated to Sporting Jacketed Breeds! Learn breed profiles, proper jacket patterns, transitions, balance, and breed-specific styling techniques through demonstrations and discussion.
BBQ & Pool Party in the evening!
(If weather doesn't cooperate, we'll substitute with a trip to Luray Caverns.)
July 18 – Practice Day
Dedicated hands-on practice day. Bring your dog and put everything you've learned into action with personalized guidance and coaching.
July 19 – Optional Adventure Day
Optional group trip to Luray Caverns or a local Virginia winery to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beautiful Shenandoah Valley.
Additional cost applies.
This will be a small, personalized group setting, allowing plenty of one-on-one instruction, questions, and hands-on learning. Rental dogs may be available if needed.
Whether you're preparing for certification, improving your breed knowledge, or refining your finish work, this workshop will provide the education, practice, and support to help you reach the next level.
