Griffo X Sonoma Valley Jazz Society Presents Gin & Jazz

Griffo & Sonoma Valley Jazz Society Present: Gin & Jazz

We're jazzing things up at Griffo Distillery with Sonoma Valley Jazz Society for our first-ever Gin & Jazz Night — an evening of live music, craft cocktails, and a little musical mischief.

The jam session, led by our house band — Joe Kelner on drums and Chris Amberger on bass — who will set the groove, with electric piano, guitar amp, and mic ready for musicians to jump in and make the night their own.

Whether you’ve got serious chops, haven’t touched your instrument in years, or just know good jazz when you hear it, you’re welcome at our NEW jam session. Come for the music, grab a bite from our partners at Tommy's Salsa, a delicious craft cocktail from the Griffo Team, and see where the night takes you!

No script. No setlist. Just good spirits, good people, gettin' in the groove at Griffo!

About Sonoma Valley Jazz Society:

SVJS is where the sound of the wine country finds its rhythm. Sonoma Valley Jazz Society curates unforgettable live jazz experiences while nurturing the next generation of musicians, blending culture, community, and artistry into every performance.

Our Mission: The purpose of the Sonoma Valley Jazz Society is to enhance the appreciation of jazz as an American musical art form through live jazz performances and education in Sonoma Valley. We bring together our community by providing an opportunity to see, hear and meet top quality Jazz artists. We also sponsor Jazz education for young aspiring musicians in our area.

Our Story: In May of 1989 a small group of Jazz lovers decided to bring live jazz to the town of Sonoma. We are a small non-profit 501(c)(3) organization solely funded by donations made by local citizens and business owners. The board is made up of a staff of all volunteers (no paid positions). We have been producing quality Jazz performances in Sonoma Valley since 1989.
