What if Sonoma County became one of the best places in America to be a storyteller?

Join Connor and Michael Pritchard for a funny, interactive evening about the future of storytelling.

Michael will open with stories and comedy from a lifetime of helping people lower their guard and speak from the heart. Connor will explore our shift from the fame economy to the attention economy and propose a new story economy built around craft, emotional impact, and community building. After our presentation, we’ll split everyone into small groups for a curated discussion.

This evening is for both story makers and story lovers: writers, actors, filmmakers, artists, and young creatives—as well as neighbors, patrons, local leaders, and potential sponsors who want to help fund talent and foster a vibrant creative community in Sonoma County.

Together, we’ll begin imagining how the right people, resources, and gathering spaces could make Sonoma County fertile ground for a new generation of creativity.

Workshop Instructors:

Michael Pritchard is a stand-up comedian, youth counselor, and advocate of social emotional learning. He speaks to schools, parent groups, and corporations on the topics of communication skills, diversity, bullying, and conflict resolution.

Connor Pritchard is a screenwriter, showrunner and writing coach who ran The Warner Media/HBO fellowship. He produced several TV shows in Hollywood, but just moved back home to build a new culture of DIY storytellers in The Bay Area.
