The first session of a new GriefShare group will begin on Wednesday, September 3rd.We plan to meet in room 105 from 6:30—8:00pm.
A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where
people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this
13-week seminar, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief in all its unpredictability and gain solid support each step of the way.
Each session is comprised of a video, small group discussion
groups, and a participants guide for personal reflection. Tri-fold brochures and small posters are in the narthex and FLC lobby. Feel free to take a few for yourself, friends, or family members who might benefit from some support in a time of grief.
