About this Event

Grief Cafe Series:Finding Grace in Greiving

guided by Lucretia VanDyke author of “African American Herbalism”

“Surrendering to your sorrow has the power to heal the deepest of wounds.” — Sobonfu Somé

Grief is a multilayered journey—one that touches the body, spirit, and heart. In times when the world feels heavy and uncertain, community becomes medicine. This is an invitation to come together in sacred space for reflection, healing, connection, rest, and release.

  • Find your elemental nature and color your way into a more embodied meditation practice.
  • Enjoy our craft fully curated mocktail and tea bar.
  • Explore levels of grief and healing arts traditions across the diaspora with a visual slide show of pictures from my research and travels.
  • Understand why  community healing ceremonies are important during these times
  • Explore herbal medicine in an immersive environment and how it can assist you on your grief journey.

Come rest, breathe, vibe, create, and recalibrate!
