On January 20th, 2006, High School Musical premiered on Disney Channel and became an overnight global phenomenon. Twenty years later, we are celebrating that milestone with a special Tuesday Sing-Along screening of the Disney Channel classic, in collaboration with the Grand Rapids Film Society, with what is sure to be a landmark night for Grand Rapids cinema.
Return to East High, where Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay, Ryan, Chad, Taylor, and Kelsi navigate responsibility, status quos, and the start of something new. Bring your voice, bring your Wildcat pride, and grab your tickets now before we sell out.
The evening also serves as a fundraiser for Campus Elementary, located just a short walk from the theater. Proceeds will support the school's PBIS program, helping to foster growth and success in the students who learn there every day.
Our program begins at 7:30pm with an overview of the fundraiser and a celebration of the talents of director and choreographer Kenny Ortega, presented by the Grand Rapids Film Society.
