Racine, WI - Hotel Verdant in Downtown Racine is proud to announce the launch of the inaugural "GreenRacine EVent," a groundbreaking celebration dedicated to sustainable mobility and green living. Scheduled for Saturday, August 10, 2024 from Noon to 5 PM, this event promises to transform the heart of the city into a hub of eco-innovation and community engagement.
Highlights Include:
• EV and E-Bike Showcase: Monument Square will display a wide range of electric vehicles and bikes, including the city’s Electric bus, Tesla Roadster, Cybertruck, and the latest models from Ford, Toyota, Hyundai, VW, Chevy & Indian Motorcycle.

• Green Trade Show: Attendees can explore a trade show featuring local green programs and businesses specializing in eco-friendly and sustainable products.

• Sustainability Tours: of the LEED certified Hotel Verdant at 1pm and 3pm (anticipating LEED Gold Status)

• Free EV Charging: Kickstarting the event, 10 free charging stations will be available close to the Hotel Verdant, making it easier for EV owners to join the festivities.
