Experience the Green Prescription Hike at Gloucester Tops with Farmacy Outdoors! This full-day, 8km grade 4 hike features three stunning loops showcasing majestic waterfalls, breathtaking lookouts, vibrant rivers, and enchanting antique beech trees and snow gums. Led by our outdoor experts, you'll enjoy a provided lunch and tea/coffee while learning to apply the GLOVES acronym to enhance your hike and daily life. Join us for the ultimate blend of adventure and wellness! Early start from Rainbow Flat at 7am , drive via Gloucester to the Tops [ many river crossings and dirt road]. Toilet and coffee/tea stop and then the Grade 4 hike begins at 9:30am through a beautiful Antarctic Beech rain forest with tumbling streams and waterfalls , views down the escarpment, thundering Gloucester Falls and a chance to dip your toes or ankles in the cool water with a well-earned yummy gourmet lunch and then we tackle the river loop if time allows the complete loop depending on the pace of the group and a chance to sight some birdlife and wild life and some intentional quiet /meditative space. The variation in landscape and habitat will amaze you in this area. Please Note: It is a long drive to the Tops [2.5 hours approximately] but well worth the effort and you will be rewarded. Price includes transfer there and back and all Park fees, Lunch, Drinks , Guided Wilderness First Aid trained guides What to bring : Your phone or camera , Good walking shoes, good thick socks, long pants that dry quickly, comfortable long sleeve shirt [breathable] , hat , beanie, rain jacket [this is an all weather event unless heavy rain blocks access to the Tops due to the creek crossings and dirt road and/or National Park Closes the Park], fleece, small day pack or backpack , personal snacks or drinks. Please notify us of any food intolerances. We aim to be back at Rainbow Flat by 4.30pm. You are welcome to drive yourself if you wish or meet us at Gloucester or the National Parks Campground at the base of the mountain. Note: This is NOT a beginners hike or walking track. Experience required , Some bushwalking experience recommended. Gradient:Short steep hills,Steps,Many steps,Quality of path Rough track, many obstacles.
