Green Drinks DC's October Happy Hour!

For October, we're rolling back into metrobar — our March home and one of DC's most unique places to grab a drink. "No delays. Just vibes." A RAMMYS Best Bar in DC winner, metrobar is built around an actual retired Metro railcar, with a platform lounge and an outdoor cocktail garden to go with it. Their whole mission is connecting the District's eight wards over craft cocktails featuring local spirits, beer, and wine — which sounds a lot like our mission, honestly.

There's food too: the El Jefe Pizza pop-up plus a rotating cast of food trucks. And with indoor and outdoor bars, metrobar runs year-round — perfect for a crisp October evening.

Getting there is easy: about a 5 minute walk from the Rhode Island Ave-Brentwood Metro station, straight down the Metropolitan Branch Trail. (Coming by bike on the MBT? You literally can't miss it.)
