This Monday, we are going to Parliament to directly pressure MPs to vote against new protest restrictions when they are heard in the House.
Because of public pressure, MPs have already objected once. That forced scrutiny and stopped these regulations slipping through quietly. Now the next and final stage is securing enough MPs willing to vote against them before Wednesday 14 January.
The most effective way to do that is in person.
From 1pm onwards on Monday, supporters will be going to Parliament to green card their MPs and ask them directly to oppose the proposal.
Green carding is the parliamentary system for requesting a meeting with your MP on the day. You arrive at Parliament, fill in a green card with your name, address, and MP’s name, and submit it to staff. Parliamentary staff then try to find your MP inside the building and ask if they will come and speak to you. If your MP is unavailable, you may speak to a member of their staff instead. Either way, your message is delivered directly inside Parliament.
You do not need an appointment.
You do not need special access.
You just need to be a constituent.
Rob will be at Parliament from 1pm onwards to green card his MP and support others doing the same. If you have never done this before, help will be available and you will not be on your own.

Your postcode (to confirm your MP)
You can arrive at any point after 1pm and stay as long or as short a time as you can. Even one conversation makes a difference.
This is a peaceful, lawful action. The more constituents MPs see in person, the harder it is for them to ignore this issue.
