Spirit of the Place and Day

Thank you for your trust and support. It's an honor to represent your organization and privilege to host this event on the iconic National Mall. In addition to being a space of global significance to recognize Earth Day, the Mall is also a National Park. As we come together for this important cause, we kindly ask all participants to respect the intent of this event—public education and awareness, celebrate sustainability, exemplify positive change, and unify the clean energy and environmental communities with the public. Let’s honor the spirit-of-the-day by engaging thoughtfully with the media and public, supporting one another, and ensuring our actions reflect our values.

Keep it Simple and Sustainable

It’s an Earth Day event. Many long-standing regulations come with the privilege of having a public education event on the National Mall. Our shared belief in sustainability and experience representing our organizations already aligns us with most of the National Park Service rules and regulations. The rules of engagement are straightforward. Exhibitors are responsible for complying with all National Park Service (NPS) rules and regulations as identified in the NPS Event Planning Guide (https://www.nps.gov/nama/learn/management/event-planning-guide.htm).
