A longtime summer favorite in Galena Country, the Great Galena Balloon Race & Glow returns to Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa for a weekend filled with colorful hot air balloons, live entertainment, food and drinks, and family-friendly activities. Guests can watch balloons take flight across the scenic Galena landscape and experience the popular evening Balloon Glow, where illuminated balloons light up the night sky. The event also features music, activities for kids, and a festive atmosphere throughout the weekend.

Friday, June 19
The weekend kicks off with live music, food and drinks, inflatable attractions for kids, and the first evening hot air balloon launch, followed by the popular Night Glow Extravaganza where illuminated balloons light up the night sky.
Saturday, June 20
Saturday begins with an early morning “Crack of Dawn” balloon launch at sunrise, followed by a full evening festival featuring live music, a classic car show, food vendors, family activities, another balloon launch, and the Night Glow Extravaganza.
Sunday, June 21
The event wraps up Sunday morning with one final sunrise “Crack of Dawn” balloon launch, giving guests one last chance to watch the colorful hot air balloons take flight over Galena Country.
