Great Big Green Week is the UK’s biggest celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature.
About this Event

Join us at Stratford Library for a morning of theatre to listen to a rehearsed reading of Brad Birch’s short play ‘A Hero of the People’.

Find out what happens when a Welsh Member of Parliament encourages a fracking company to set up in his constituency, but not everyone agrees this is a good thing… especially his own family!

After the reading, Dr Julie Hudson, FRSA and author of ‘The Environment on Stage’ will host a discussion to explore the themes and thoughts raised by the play.
