This October, we're inviting our community to Go Pink for Grateful Friends!
Grateful Friends Go Pink is a new community-wide fundraising and awareness campaign bringing together individuals, businesses, students, and supporters across Essex and Middlesex Counties for one big day of pink on October 22. Our goal is to raise $25,000 to help Grateful Friends continue providing meaningful, timely support to local adults with cancer. Whether you're at work, at school, out in the community, or gathering with friends, you can participate. Wear your Grateful Friends pink, share why you're supporting our mission, and help more people learn that Grateful Friends is here when they need us.
How Do I Go Pink?
It's simple: Wear pink on October 22. Show your support. Spread the word.
For a donation of $25, you will receive a 2026 Go Pink T-shirt! Higher giving levels with additional surprise Go Pink swag are also being planned, so stay tuned!
Throughout the day, participants will be encouraged to share their photos and stories using our official #GFGoPink hashtag, helping create a visible wave of support across Essex and Middlesex Counties.
Through our new Grateful Friends Youth Division, participating high school students can receive their Go Pink T-shirt with a minimum donation of just $5. Interested in organizing a chapter at your school? Get in touch!
Day-of reception, additional giving levels, ordering information, distribution details, and Go Pink goodies are coming soon - so stay tuned!
Go Pink With Us
We're looking for 10 local businesses to become inaugural Grateful Friends Go Pink sponsors.
For $1,000, participating businesses will help us launch this new community tradition while getting their teams involved in the day. Sponsorship is expected to include Go Pink shirts for up to 15 team members, recognition on the official 2026 T-shirt, campaign visibility, and additional ways to show your support at your business.
The deadline to register as a sponsor is October 1. Complete sponsorship details and registration are coming soon.

Why Go Pink?
Behind every cancer diagnosis is a person, a family, and a community that may need support.
Grateful Friends provides financial assistance, Comfort Baskets™, and other meaningful support to adults with cancer in Essex and Middlesex Counties. We work closely with oncology social workers and healthcare professionals throughout the region to connect people with support without creating another overwhelming process during an already difficult time. Our neighbors with cancer need us. And we need our community to make this work possible.
Our goal for Grateful Friends Go Pink is to raise enough support to help cover the needs of 30+ local neighbors living with cancer.
So grab your pink, invite your coworkers, classmates, friends, and family, and join us on October 22.
Wear pink. Show up. Spread awareness. Make a difference.
Together, we can help ensure that no one in our community has to face cancer alone.
For more information, please reach out to Becky ([email protected]), Debi ([email protected]), or Lee ([email protected]).
Introducing the Grateful Friends Youth Division
We're especially excited that the inaugural Grateful Friends Go Pink campaign will include the newly formed Grateful Friends Youth Division at Beverly High School. Led by students, this new initiative gives young people an opportunity to spread awareness, support our mission, develop leadership skills, and make a meaningful difference for adults with cancer in their own communities. Our Beverly High School chapter is just the beginning.
Students at other area high schools who are interested in bringing a Grateful Friends Youth Division to their school will soon have an opportunity to tell us why they'd like to lead a chapter. More information about becoming a Youth Division leader is coming soon.
Save the Date & Start Spreading the Word
There's much more Go Pink news to come between now and October 22.
For now: Save October 22. Tell your friends, coworkers and classmates. Get ready to wear pink. And help us build a new annual tradition that brings our community together for our neighbors with cancer.
