Join us for a hands-on grant writing workshop! This opportunity is for anyone with an interest writing proposals for nonprofit organizations. All are welcome, whether you've never written a proposal beore or a seasoned veteran who would like a refresher.
Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Meet the Facilitator
Becky Cole is a seasoned profesional, with over 35 years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, and resource development for nonprofits of all sizes. Her grant writing portfolio includes, government funding, corporate foundations, traditional foundations, private family foundations and community foundations.
What you will learn includes:
- How to tell a funder who you are, what do you do, what difference do you make for your service area, and how do you run your business
- How to write goals, objectives and outcomes
- How data collection and evaluation strategies are important to your organization - what are they why it matters
- Funding sources - what are the types and how to match a funder with who you are as an organization
- Budgets - the story your budget says about your funding request and your organization
- Sustainability is about more than just money - what is this and why it matters to the funder and your organization
- Helpful resources for supporting the grant writing process
As a bonus:
By attending this workshop and write a proposal within 60 days, the course instructor will review it before submittal.
The workshop presentation and worksheets will also be shared with all attendess.
