Annata presents Grand Vino & Truffles — two evenings of extraordinary Italian wines paired with the season’s finest truffles, on Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th July 2026 at 7:00pm. Executive Chef Jordon Garcia has crafted a five-course menu around one of the culinary world’s most prized ingredients, matched to a wine journey spanning the Alps to Umbria.
The truffle is mysterious, seasonal and impossible to replicate — buried beneath ancient oak forests, it transforms every dish it graces with an intensity that lingers long after the last bite. Jordon’s menu is designed to let the truffle lead, with ingredients of equal quality and cooking of quiet confidence — a menu of genuine occasion.
The evening opens with Ferrari Maximum Blanc de Blanc, Trentino’s answer to great Champagne. The first course pairs the 2024 Tibaldi Favorita Langhe with the 2021 Weingut Niklas Kerner from the Alto Adige — white Italy in two registers, floral and precise. Course two explores Piedmont’s rare indigenous whites: the 2022 Enrico Rivetto Nascetta ‘Vigna Lirano’ alongside the 2022 Vigneti Repetto Quadro Timorasso from the Colli Tortonesi, both structured and mineral. The great reds arrive with course three: Massimo Rivetti’s 2020 ‘Froi’ Barbaresco, fragrant and brooding with rose petal and tar, joined by the 2020 Sadivino Maestroso Sangiovese Superiore. Course four ascends to the summit with Giovanni Manzone’s 2020 Barolo ‘Gramolere’ — one of the Langhe’s most celebrated single vineyards — alongside the 2018 Perticaia Montefalco Sagrantino, Umbria’s formidable gift to Italian wine. To close, the 2013 Cantalici Vin Santo arrives as liquid amber — its honey, walnut and dried fig the perfect companion to Jordon’s truffle-kissed final course.
