Grand Opening of Mamacita Foundation Charity & Reuse Shop
About this Event
Join us for the grand opening of Mamacita Foundation’s new Charity & Reuse Shop on George Street, Aberdeen.
Our shop is more than a place to buy affordable pre-loved items. It is a community space that supports reuse, reduces waste, creates volunteering opportunities, and helps fund Mamacita Foundation’s frontline work with individuals, families, children, young people, older people and people experiencing hardship across Aberdeen.
At the grand opening, guests will have the opportunity to visit the new shop, meet our team and volunteers, learn more about our community work, browse donated items, and celebrate this new chapter with us.
Every purchase and donation helps us support people facing poverty, isolation, food insecurity and barriers to inclusion. The shop will also support our youth work, employability activities, volunteering pathways and wider community support services.
We warmly invite community members, partners, local businesses, volunteers, supporters and friends of Mamacita Foundation to come along and celebrate with us.
