Cartooning with Big Dog
About this Event
Workshop Facilitator - Colin Fraser
Learn the basics of cartooning through a fun guided draw-along, starting with Big Dog and a series of quick animal character sketches. Participants will explore how simple shapes, expressions and personality can bring characters to life before designing their own original cartoon character inspired by a playful rhyming story prompt. Perfect for young illustrators, storytellers and comic fans.
All materials are provided, and no previous experience is necessary.
All young people need to be accompanied by an adult.
This is a family-friendly workshop suitable for all ages, so bring along the whole family – parents, carers, grandparents and friends are all welcome.
Together, we are committed to making creativity accessible to everyone by providing affordable, high-quality arts activities in the heart of Aberdeen city centre throughout the summer holidays. We aim to create welcoming, inclusive and inspiring spaces where children, young people, adults and families can explore their creativity, learn new skills and spend quality time together.
By attending this workshop, you are supporting the local creative community and Charlie House's charitable work.
This workshop is part of the SPARK! Summer Art Club delivered by SMART Art Agency in partnership with Bon Accord and EDIT Aberdeen.
