BRENNEN LEIGH

Brennen Leigh is a songwriter, lifer musician, lover of country music and aspiring steel guitar player. Her original songs have been recorded by Rodney Crowell, Charley Crockett, Sunny Sweeney, Summer Dean, Lee Ann Womack and others. In 2020, she self released “Prairie Love Letter,” an homage to her childhood home on the American Great Plains, by shipping vinyl copies of her album to fans from her living room in Nashville. The album’s reception caught the ear of label Signature Sounds, who signed Leigh and subsequently released “Obsessed With The West,” her collaboration with Western Swing legends Asleep at the Wheel) in 2021, and “Ain’t Through Honky Tonkin’ Yet,” produced by Chris Scruggs, in 2023. Leigh made her Grand Ole Opry debut the same year. She is also one third of super group Wonder Women of Country, with Kelly Willis and Melissa Carper.

Leeroy Stagger is an award winning singer songwriter and Producer from Victoria, B.C. He has toured and played with artists such as Steve Earle, Jason Isbell, Drive By Truckers, Josh Ritter and more, and similar to like-minded songwriters as Jason Isbell and Steve Earle, Leeroy Stagger uses his long-term sobriety for muse, muscle, and music.
Fall of 2024 brought Stagger’s 13th full length album, 3 AM Revelations. The result of what Stagger calls his “third attempt” at making this record, meaning his listeners can look forward to two more collections in the can. And if 3 AM is three times the charm, as well as the bewitching hour in which to write beautiful music, Leeroy Stagger has tapped into something remarkably moving.

CRYIN’ TIME STEEL GUITAR CONVENTION is a four day event dedicated to the celebration of steel guitar music and culture, and takes place FEBRUARY 6TH-9TH, 2025 in Vancouver, BC, at The Wise Hall, Green Auto, The Heatley, and The Pearl.
The weekend joins professional and amateur players, artists and industry professionals, and above all, fans. We do not claim to be any authority, but we hope that if we can give folks access to a wealth of knowledge, and all the beautiful tones their hearts can hold, they will have all the opportunities they need to become one.
