Grand Haven Beach Clean Up Presented by Corona

KEEP THE MITTEN CLEAN: GRAND HAVEN

Join us on the shores of Lake Michigan for a day of sun, sand, and doing good! Presented by Corona, these beach clean-up events are family-friendly, open to all, and packed with good vibes.

We’ll be picking up trash, recycling plastic, and toasting our efforts with a few cold beers! Grab some free swag, score raffle tickets for big prizes, and watch as collected plastics get transformed into awesome gear.

It’s the perfect mix of giving back, meeting new friends, and enjoying a fun-filled day at the beach!

Schedule:

10am-1pm: Beach clean up, open house style. Enjoy some time at the beach and some time cleaning up and making new friends. (Clean up supplies provided, look for the Corona Tent somewhere near area 7 & 8 on the beach)

1-3pm: Happy Hour @ Notos at the Bil-Mar. Join us as we cheers with some Coronas and celebrate all of your hard work. (You are responsible for your tab, although there are often a few free beer samples involved)

1:45pm: Raffle drawing! Everyone who helps clean up and stops by happy hour has a chance to win. Prizes will be a bike, floating cooler, tent or backpack (all valued at over $100!) as well as tumblers, water bottles, hats and more.

Everyone who attends will snag some free sweet swag, including products made directly from the plastics we pick up on the beach.

This event is free to attend but we are collecting donations to support the clean ups and recycling efforts. Any amount helps, even $1! You may donate on site via Venmo or Cash, or if you choose to make a larger donation prior with a “ticket” through eventbrite, you will receive a special thank you gift at the event.

Please note many of our locations do require paid parking, you are responsible for that fee. We suggest enjoying a leisurely morning at the beach, joining for a portion of the clean up then casually strolling to happy hour in time for the raffle. All bar locations are family friendly! There is NO alcohol allowed or served on the beaches. You do not need to sign up to attend, but we recommend signed up via Eventbrite or joining the Facebook event for up to date information should we need to adjust a meet up spot or make a rain date.
