ABOUT THE ARTIST
Louise Goffin is a singer-songwriter and recording artist whose work is rooted in craft, instinct, and a deep relationship to the studio. Her independent body of work reflects a life spent writing, producing, and shaping songs from the inside out, with a clear point of view and a commitment to artistic self-direction.
Her recordings and creative work have taken her through rooms at Sunset Sound, Royal Studios in Memphis, Muscle Shoals Sound Studio, and Abbey Road, as well as into international workshops and performances, including leading songwriting sessions in Buenos Aires. She is the founder of the Goffin & King Foundation, a creative platform where songwriters gather in historic places and studios for focused writing sessions built on collaboration, independence, and trust.
Her songs are shaped by lived experience and emotional clarity, with a sound that feels both intimate and expansive. She draws from the highest level of songwriting, carrying a simple emotional clarity from the work of her parents before her, Gerry Goffin and Carole King, into her own distinct style and voice, while her melodic instincts and natural ease leading a band remain unmistakably her own. Her delivery holds a sense of presence that draws an audience in and makes them want to listen.
She will be performing with stellar band members from Los Angeles- Jason Berk, Oli Mabran, Charlie Faragher & Adrian Bourgeois.
The concert will open with Goffin & her band members for a 45 minute set, followed by an intermission or approximately 30 minutes, and then another 45 minute set.
ABOUT THE VENUE
The Blak Box Theater in Joshua Tree offers a wonderfully intimate concert experience, seating about 150 guests in a space designed to bring the artist close to the audience. With exceptional acoustics, first-rate sound, lighting, and special effects, the theater creates a rich and immersive setting for live performance. Every seat is a good seat, from the comfortable raked seating to floor-level and elite bistro-table seating. Guests can also enjoy the theater’s bar, offering coffee, cocktails, non-alcoholic cocktails, beer, and wine—all in the uniquely inspiring setting of Joshua Tree.

- We recommend using the "BUY ON MAP" function when purchasing seats so you can select your seats. All seats are reserved.
- No animals are allowed into the venue except specifically trained ADA service dogs as defined by the Americans with Disabilties Act. Emotional support animals are prohibited.
- All Table seats and Preferred Row E seats are Accessible Seating and therefore are not specifically marked. Other seating tiers have designated ADA/companion seat options.
- No outside beverages or food may be brought into the venue. (We have glass and plastic bottles of water available for a nominal charge. We also serve other beverages at the bar.)
