The Meeting Point: Hunter’s Moon Hapé Ceremony & Sound Bath in Joshua Tree
About this Event
Doors open at 6:10pm / Ceremony Circle Opens at 6:30pm
Depending on the weather, we may gather indoors or outside under the desert sky. The ceremony location will be determined on the day of the event.
Join us for an evening ceremony under the Hunter’s Moon, gathering together on the night of the October Full Moon. Traditionally associated with the shift deeper into autumn, this full moon offers a natural moment to slow down, take stock, and reconnect with what feels essential as we move toward the darker months of the year.
The Meeting Point is a space to pause, reconnect with yourself, and gather in community. After our summer break, we’re grateful to return to circle together at Soma House JT.
During this gathering, we will sit in circle for a guided Hapé ceremony, working intentionally with this sacred Amazonian medicine. Participants will have a choice between a softer, more nurturing and heart-centered blend (traditionally feminine) or a stronger, more grounding and focused blend (traditionally masculine), allowing you to choose what feels most supportive for you that evening.
Throughout the ceremony, live songs and grounding prayers will be woven into the space, creating a container for reflection, intention, and connection both inward and with the community around us.
We will close the evening with a live sound bath, giving the body space to settle, rest, and integrate the experience through vibration.
An optional Sananga offering will also be available for those who feel called to receive it, supporting inner clarity and intentional reflection. Please note that those who choose to receive sananga may not wear contacts during application or for the rest of the evening.
Space is intentionally limited to keep the circle intimate. Advance registration is required, and all ticket holders will receive a brief participation screening following registration. To protect the integrity of the space, this is a sober gathering, and participants must be able to make clear, autonomous choices about their participation. Hapé is not offered during pregnancy or during active illness or significant physical or mental health flare-ups. If, based on the screening, participation is not appropriate at this time, your donation will be fully refunded.
See the FAQs below for what to bring and more information about the gentle plant medicines offered during the ceremony. All plant medicine offerings are optional.
Presented in partnership by Kambo Kreativa & Soma House JT, with ceremony guided by Lette Allen & Kyle Hudson.
