Gotham Book Club at P&T Knitwear

P&T Knitwear is thrilled to launch our first in house book group: the Gotham Book Club —meeting once a month to discuss our favorite fiction & nonfiction about New York City.

This month, we'll be reading & discussing Another Country by James Baldwin. Stunning for its emotional intensity & haunting sensuality, Another Country is a novel of sexual, racial, political, artistic passions, set in Greenwich Village, Harlem, & France. From one of the most important American novelists of the twentieth century, this novel depicts people of all kinds stripped of their masks of gender & race by love & hatred at the most elemental & sublime.

• This is a ticketed in-store event with limited amphitheater-style seating.
• Cost of a $5 general admission ticket can be applied towards your purchase of next month's book club pick or any product in our café the night of the book club meeting.
