“ Goodnight, Little Owl" with Mickey & Laura

Embrace the quiet beauty of a moonlit autumn evening as you paint this heartwarming scene of a mother owl and her owlet nestled together beneath a glowing full moon. With its peaceful stillness, soft moonlight, and gentle sense of connection, this painting is a celebration of comfort, love, and the quiet moments that often mean the most.
Santa Fe artists Laura Tarnoff and Mickey Bond will guide you step by step as you create your own version of this enchanting nighttime scene. You'll learn techniques for painting luminous moonlight, rich velvety skies, expressive tree branches, and the soft textures and delicate markings that bring these beautiful owls to life.
This class invites you to slow down and savor the creative process. As your painting unfolds, you'll discover how subtle contrasts of light and dark can create depth, atmosphere, and a sense of calm that seems to glow from within.
No experience is needed. All materials are provided, along with mimosas and light snacks. You're also welcome to bring your favorite beverage or treat.
