Join CareFirstNY in partnership with the Southeast Steuben County Library for a day of FREE activities designed to support children, teens, and families who are coping with grief and loss.
Through stories, crafts, games, and connection, participants will have the opportunity to explore healing in a welcoming and supportive environment. No registration required - simply drop in for the activities that interest you!

Activities include:
Storytime with Mr. Ric
10 AM-10:30 AM
We'll read “My Forever Guardian” by Kristina Bingham Jones, a comforting children’s book that helps young readers process the loss of a loved one.
Craft Time with Miss Sue
10:30 AM-11:30 AM
Families can stay after the story for craft time where children will create a special keepsake inspired by the book. All supplies and instruction will be provided.
Family Carnival
1:30 PM-3 PM
In the afternoon, families of all ages are invited to enjoy a fun-filled Family Carnival featuring games, prizes, face painting, a fishing pond, balloon pop, bean bag toss, and more.
