Good Filthy Records Vol. 2 has arrived with a killer lineup, featuring Sunshine Coast rockers Happy Valley, GFR very own Big Blue Eyes, and shoegaze newcomers strayfold.

Hailing from the Sunshine Coast in Caloundra, Australia, Happy Valley make passionate guitar-based rock that balances indie rock artfulness with a pop sensibility. Formed in 2019, Happy Valley features frontman Trey Gibbons, guitarist Beau Gibbons, guitarist/keys Mitch Degotardi, bassist Joel Shipley, and drummer Mikaela Swan.

Big Blue Eyes is a Brisbane-based indie rock band helmed by songwriter and frontman Ryan Smart. Driven by a passion for crafting songs that resonate deeply, Ryan founded Big Blue Eyes to bring his DIY recordings to life. His distinctive songwriting style is marked by nostalgic chord progressions, poignant lyrics, and emotive vocals that forge a powerful connection with listeners.

strayfold is an alternative rock band from Brisbane/Meanjin, arising with theirdynamic shoegaze sound. Their songs marry gracefully vulnerable lyrics withtenacious instrumentals, creating passionate music that is both intimate and lush. Inspired by the likes of my bloody valentine, Julia Jacklin, and Feeble Little Horse, strayfold’s 6-piece ensemble features striking sounds of baritone guitar, violin and soaring female vocals.
