🌟 What is the Golden ORA Dance Awards?

A community appreciation evening created to recognize meaningful contributions in the Latino dance community and bring people together for a positive, memorable night.

🎶 What’s the format?

• Seated appreciation & award acknowledgments

• Followed by social dancing.

💃 What music will be played?

Latin music, mainly, Salsa & Bachata, kizomba...during the social dancing portion.

🤍 Is this a charity event?

CHEO (Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario) to support children and families in our region.

🎖 Is this a competition?

No. This event is about, appreciation, recognition, and community, Not ranking or competition.

📄 Will tax receipts be provided?

At this time, tax receipts are not issued, as donations are collected at the event level.

🤝 How are categories handled?

The event exists to acknowledge meaningful contributions within the dance community. Recognition is guided by public voting through our website.

💛 Why this event?

• Celebrate & appreciate the dance community

• Bring people together in a positiveς to keep our dance family strong

• Give back through a meaningful cause (CHEO)

A night to celebrate Ottawa–Gatineau’s dance community and the hard work of DJs, instructors, organizers, and dance students.

🎟 No ticket sales, attendance is by minimum $20 donation
