Golden Hour Goat Yoga at the Gamble House
About this Event
Meet rescued and fostered Nigerian Dwarf baby goats for a fun, light-hearted yoga session on the rear lawn of the historic Gamble House, known for its iconic craftsman architecture by Greene & Greene.
You may recognize The Gamble House as Doc Brown’s mansion in Back to the Future. Go back in time and reconnect with your inner kid during an all-levels, goat-friendly yoga sequence led by certified instructor, Tina Lenert
Whether you’re trying yoga for the first time or you’re an experienced practitioner looking for a cheeky new challenge, this class is designed to widen your smile, open your heart, deepen your stretch, strengthen your core—and challenge your balance almost as much as the goats challenge theirs! 🐐

GOATS WILL BE GOATS
- Goats can leave their "blessings" anywhere at any time...LUCKILY they are vegan so their dry, coffee bean-like droppings are virtually scent free & biodegradable.
- Participants who'd rather not have their yoga mats “autographed” by goats, can bring a beach towel to use instead or rent a used-sanitized yoga mat for $5 each.
- Goats have no boundaries! Please clear away anything you'd rather not have climbed on, nibbled on, or "blessed" by goats!
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES
- Participants should weigh at least 70 lbs. for goats-on-back poses.
- Bring drinking water to stay hydrated.
- Tie back long hair to discourage curious goats from giving you a trim!
- Wear a shirt that covers your back from pointy little hooves.
- Remove loose or dangling jewelry before class.
- We love all animals, but unfamiliar animals can be stressful for our goats. Please leave pets at home.
ABOUT US
Hello Critter goats are the beloved “kids” of Michelle, aka the Goat Mama (she doesn’t have the human variety!). She has cared for pet goats since the ’80s and, along the way, helped at-risk, displaced and mistreated goats find safe, happy homes.
The goats always come first. Highly intelligent, curious and social, many of Michelle’s kids genuinely enjoy hopping into their “barn on wheels” to explore new places and meet new people. New sights, sounds, smells, textures and tastes provide valuable enrichment—and plenty of joy for the humans they meet along the way.
Most importantly, the goats get a choice. When called for an adventure, those who gather at the gate get to go; those who prefer to stay home enjoy their barnyard, friends and custom enrichment clubhouse.
Whether joining us for Goat Yoga, a hike, playdate, creative workshop or community visit, each goat is treated as the unique, sentient individual they are, with their health, happiness and well-being guiding everything we do.
