Wildlife Day

Join us at Pasadena Humane on Saturday, October 17 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for our fourth annual Wildlife Day! This free, family-friendly event is full of opportunities to explore, learn, and celebrate the wild world around us. Enjoy engaging talks from local wildlife experts, get creative with hands-on crafts and activities for kids, and browse a marketplace featuring artwork, native plants, and one-of-a-kind goods.

Whether you’re a lifelong wildlife enthusiast or simply curious about the creatures in your own backyard, there’s something for everyone!

Wildlife Talks
Join us throughout the day for engaging presentations from wildlife experts at Pasadena Humane, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, and Cal Poly Pomona. Explore topics including wildlife rehabilitation, urban ecology, urban parrot research, and living with bears.

Learn
Connect with local wildlife and conservation nonprofits and learn about the wild animals we care for at Pasadena Humane.

Vendor Marketplace
Shop the local vendor marketplace for nature-inspired art, handmade gifts, native plants, seeds, and more—everything you need to bring a touch of the wild home.

Activities for Kids
Young animal lovers can get creative with hands-on crafts, junior birding activities, and creating their own DIY binoculars, all while learning about the wild animals we see at the shelter.
