• Single Elimination
• 4 player groups – Top 2 in each group advance to the next round
~Gameplay Rules~
• No cheats
• Radar is on
• # of Players: 2 or 4
• Scenario: Normal
• Level: For initial rounds, Stack, Basement, Complex, or Facility. In Finals, Facility will be used.
• Game Length: 10 minutes in initial rounds; 20 minutes for Finals.
• Characters: Oddjob banned.
• Weapons: For intial rounds, all allowed except Golden Gun, Throwing Knives, Slappers. In Finals, Pistols will be used.
• Health: Default
• Aim: Sight ON, Auto Aim ON
~Tiebreaker~
If there is a tie for second place in the initial rounds or a tie for first place in the Finals, a tiebreaker will be decided by a single sudden death match (first K*ll wins) in the basement level, normal mode, Pistols.
~Choosing Characters, Level, and Weapons~
• 2 Player
• Players will flip coin to determine weapons and level selection. Coin flip winner gets first choice of EITHER weapons or level (i.e. if coin flip winner chooses level, then coin flip losers gets first choice of weapons). If there is a dispute over characters, a second coin flip will determine who chooses character first.
• 4 Player
• Players will draw numbers (1-4) to determine choice of weapons, characters, and level. For level and weapons, 1 gets choice of level, and 2 gets choice of weapons. For character selection, the order is reversed (4 gets first choice, 3 gets second, 2 gets third, and 1 gets fourth).
~Controllers~
We have a limited number of N64 controllers available, so you are strongly encouraged to bring your own. Standard N64 controllers, HORI Mini Pad, N64 Arcade Shark Joystick, Gamecube controller (with N64 adapter), and keyboard (with N64 adapter) are permitted. Any other types of controllers not mentioned may be used, but must first be approved by staff running tournament.
~Prizes~
$5 of each buy-in goes into a pot, top 3 winners get a split of the pot. $1 from each buy-in will be donated to Safe Place Olympia.
