About this Event
We are all looking for imagery we can use to convey humor, fear, happiness, sadness, and togetherness. Learning to paint emotionally evocative animals is a great way to connect a viewer to your art, especially when the painting has some mixed media textures and mark making to go with it!
Come explore fun and easy techniques to create unquestionably quirky, colorful, and absolutely irresistible little critters. We learn to capture the eyes, personality, and other detail of an animal.
Expand your creative approach to art and play with acrylic, inks, charcoal, collage.
Never painted before? No problem! I show students a quick and simple process to get started.
Students will walk away with a ready-to-hang 12x12 painting of a wildlife animal, full of life, layers, and fun for you to enjoy at home.
