Recognized among Canada’s premier youth ballet companies, Goh Ballet Youth Company offers accomplished training and meaningful stage experiences that prepare dancers for the demands of a professional pathway. GBYC invites exceptional young dancers aged 16+ to audition for company placement, where they train with intention and perform with distinction. Dancers will advance their technique and deepen their artistry in a focused, supportive environment that cultivates precision, confidence, and expressive excellence. This is a fully accredited program with diploma upon two year completion.

Eligibility: Ages 16+ with at least five years of advanced dance training and the minimum required vocabulary.

Additional Materials: Please submit your headshot, dance shot and CV in the Google Form provided after registration. We also ask that you bring a printed copy of your headshot and CV to your audition.

Senior Professional School and Scholarship Audition

Goh Ballet's Senior Professional School offers advanced training designed to prepare dancers for professional careers. With a strong focus on classical technique and artistic development, students benefit from individualized coaching, performance experiences, and participation in masterclasses and competitions. Our unique integrated academic/ballet program allows students to pursue their education while receiving intensive dance training, creating well-rounded dancers ready for the stage.

Eligibility: Ages 13+ and interested in Goh Ballet's Senior Professional School’s annual program.

Submitting a Video Audition

To audition via video, please submit your video link in the Google Form provided after registration. Your video should be no longer than 15 minutes and should contain the following:

• Barre
• Centre work
• Pointe work (if applicable)
• Classical variation (female variations must be performed en pointe)
• Contemporary solo excerpt (no more than 1 min)

Info: An advanced-level ballet class will be offered.

Info: Select students will be asked to perform a classical variation (female variations must be performed en pointe) and a contemporary solo excerpt (max 1 minute). No costumes are needed but a practice tutu can be worn if preferred. Every attendee should be prepared to present a variation.
Please provide your own music.

Info: If requested, auditionees and applicants will be asked to meet with the Director and Associate Director for additional background information.
