Goat Care 101

Join us for this two-day program that is designed for both current and prospective goat owners. The goal is for participants to gain actionable information about how to raise healthy and productive goats in Florida. This program also provides an overview of the goat industry and products that can be produced from small ruminants. This program is a cooperation between the Marion County Extension office and an award-winning certified master goat producer. Tickets will cover meals for both days.

•Health & parasite management

•Fundamentals of raising healthy goats

•Selecting breeding stock & kidding

•Overview of dairy production
