As we approach the warmth and vibrancy of summer, join us on Saturday the 2nd of November for "Go With Yang," a half-day retreat designed to harness the dynamic, expansive energy of yang. This retreat is a celebration of movement, self-love, and the powerful transition to brighter days.
The experience begins with an exercise class that invites you to honour your body and spirit through conscious movement, cultivating self-love, and accessing your inner strength. This class combines low-impact cardio with strengthening exercises choreographed to uplifting music. As music and movement are known to positively impact mental health, we will explore this dynamic as we journey together, taking moments for mindful reflection before, during, and after the workout. Adding to the fun, we encourage you to share up to five songs that inspire, motivate, or uplift you — those tracks that make your heart sing! Send your selections to [email protected] by October 12th, and we'll do our best to incorporate at least one of them into our playlist for the class.
After the session, we will come together and enjoy a refreshing morning tea, which will provide an opportunity to connect and recharge.
Following this, we move into a vinyasa yoga practise, drawing on yang energy to build flexibility, stamina, and inner vitality. This practice is designed to embrace the qualities of action, expansion, and outward expression. The retreat concludes with a calming guided meditation to integrate the day's practices and leave you feeling centred and renewed.
Inspired by the wisdom of yin-yang balance, this retreat offers a unique opportunity to mirror the rising energy that will carry us through the season of light and warmth!

TIME: 9am to 12pm

WHERE: Riverdell Spiritual Centre (Dell & Sanctuary)
BRING: A bottle of water, small towel, yoga mat (we have some spares available) and a jumper or warmer layer incase you need it during meditation. An open mind and heart.
