Go By Ocean is the musical project of Northern California artist Ryan McCaffrey, known for creating expansive, emotionally resonant songs that blend indie rock, folk, and ambient textures. Based along the Marin coast, McCaffrey draws deep inspiration from the natural world, personal reflection, and the power of music to connect and heal.

Much of Go By Ocean’s sound has been shaped in immersive recording sessions at the iconic Panoramic House in Stinson Beach, where collaboration and instinctive playing have helped define the project’s layered, atmospheric style. At its core, the music explores themes of transformation, resilience, and hope—inviting listeners into a richly textured sonic landscape that aims to move both heart and spirit.
