Gluggle gluggle! You asked for it, and we're hosting it! Come along to Mud Fox Ceramics to create your very own handmade gluggle jug!
We've seen some fantastic pieces made in these workshops previously and you'll be guided through the whole process by our Studio Head. The methods used are pinch, coil and slab work with some sculpting in the last hour to refine and personalise your jug, so you'll be working with all four handbuilding techniques in the session.
This 4 hour workshop is suitable for beginners with plenty of time to complete your work, and for those with sculpting experience to spend the extra time embellishing and refining to your style.
Cost: £55 per person
Optional extra: £30 glazing session to decorate your jug at a later date (bookable on the day)
Good to know: We are a working studio and strongly recommend wearing clothes you don't mind getting clay on. It washes out leaving no trace, but white shirts and shoes are incompatible with pottery! We provide tea and coffee and you're welcome to bring snacks with you as it is a longer session. Wash hands thoroughly before eating!
