Global Liberation Film Series

Join us for Seeds of Liberation’s monthly film night, where we gather to educate, challenge, and inspire. Each month, we feature thought-provoking films that delves into issues of social justice, human rights, and abolitionist movements. We collaborate with local organizations to share resources and get people involved in ongoing activism.

Our goal is to create a space for learning and unlearning, where we can confront systemic injustices and discover pathways to liberation. After each screening, we create space for sharing thoughts and asking questions. Together, we can cultivate a community dedicated to dismantling oppression and fostering true liberation for all. Whether you're a seasoned activist or new to the journey, everyone is welcome.

If you are able, we welcome contributions to support Seeds of Liberation's free programming as well as the educators and organizations facilitating the discussions and panels.

Our programming is intentionally created as an offering for Black and brown people, artists, and organizers. We ask that allies honor this intention and allow this space to remain centered on those it was created for.

The United States border is not just a geographic location. The border is everywhere. It lies within every undocumented immigrant family with the threat that at any moment they can be captured, incarcerated, deported; their lives destroyed. BORDERLAND | The Line Within not only exposes the profitable business of immigration and its human cost, but weaves together the stories of immigrant heroines and heroes resisting and showing a way forward, intent on building a movement in the shadow of the border industrial complex, recognizing the human rights of all.
