Welcome to the 173rd Dovetail Social and Networking Group Meeting!

It's November, the season of Thanksgiving, and tonight we celebrate our gratitude for old friendships and new.

Life transitions can bring us to our knees, and a helping hand will make the difference between despair and hope. We celebrate our community that lifts all boats, helping and supporting all with connections, advice and alliances.

Dovetail is a pure networking group. It's not limited to jobseekers - it's critical to your mental health if you work remotely. Come for personal fulfillment, career management and advancement, and business success. We've meet every month, on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at Alioto's.

No speakers. No lectures. No 30 second commercial analyses. It's authentic conversations with other cool people.

Newcomers are surprised at the welcoming and fun "vibe," and the casual environment. With social skills rusty from from solitude and working from home, it's a great "safe" place to learn how to hang out with business professionals again.

Here's a few guidelines:

1. We provide pizza and hot apps. Please donate if you partake - $8. We have a scholarship fund if the budget is tight.
2. Business casual, or "Smart Casual, " is our code. Rock your jeans like you're a boss! Your attitude? "How can I help you!"
3. Please purchase a beverage and tip your server. "Just water" is not good etiquette. Please purchase a beverage and tip your server. If you're budget is too tight, let Laura know and we'll tap the scholarship fund.
