In this month of Gratitude we want to give back by giving the gift of life to those who are in need. Give back by donating blood at our Give the Gift of Life Blood Drive on Thursday, Nov. 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 6770 Monaco St. During our last blood drive we had a challenge between the South Adams County Fire Department and the South Adams County Water and Sanitation District to see which organization would have the most donors. Team Water won and got a pizza party! Can they hold on to their championship or do you have a team who would like to challenge them for the title? Sign up now for your appointment at 1-800-REDCROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit RedCrossBlood.org and use sponsor code: CommerceCityCOC. Bring a photo ID or your blood donor card, or two other forms of ID. You can save up to 15 minutes when you donate blood by using RapidPass the day of your donation! Visit RedCrossBlood.org/RapidPass for more information. Donors 16 and 17-years-old must have a completed Parent Consent Form.
