About this Event

Part 1 of the GIS for Environmental Impact Series

Foundations of GIS — Concepts, Data & Spatial Thinking

Join DC EcoWomen for the GIS for Environmental Impact professional development workshop series led by Tyler Stotland, designed to help environmental professionals build confidence using geospatial tools and spatial data in their work across sectors and career stages.

Participants will learn how geospatial information systems (GIS) informs environmental action, enhances communication and strategy, and supports real-world problem solving. Sessions build both conceptual understanding and practical capability, making this series ideal for professionals, students, and anyone looking to expand their technical fluency or integrate spatial analysis into their work.

No prior GIS experience required!
