About this Event

🏔️ STANAGE EDGE, STANAGE POLE, HIGH NEB & HIGGER TOR

Sunday 15th November 2026 | 9:00am📍 Meet: Stanage Edge Car Park

Please arrive early and be on time, as we’ll aim to set off promptly.

11.6km circular route | 293m elevation gain | 3–4 hours

Join us for a stunning Peak District hike taking in Stanage Edge, Stanage Pole, High Neb and Higger Tor.

We’ll follow the iconic gritstone edge, taking in incredible views across the Hope Valley before heading towards Stanage Pole and High Neb, the highest point along Stanage Edge. We’ll then continue to Higger Tor for panoramic views across the Peak District before returning to the car park.

Expect rocky, uneven and potentially muddy terrain, with some exposed sections along the edge. November conditions can also be cold, windy and changeable, so please come prepared.

🤍 Whether you’re coming solo or with a friend, this is a great chance to explore the Peak District and meet other women who love getting outdoors.

⚠️ Please note: This is not a guided hike and you attend entirely at your own risk. Care should be taken around exposed cliff edges, particularly in poor weather.

Please bring:

🥾 Suitable hiking footwear with good grip🌧️ Waterproofs + warm layers💧 Plenty of water🥪 Food and snacks for the full hike🎒 Any personal Medic*tion you may need📱 Fully charged phone

The rocks can be slippery when wet and there may be mud and boggy ground along parts of the route.

Can’t wait to hike with you! ⛰️🤍
